In this self portrait I’m reflecting on my life and the young adult that I am today. Through the stuffed animals, each gifted to me at different times in my life by different people, a metaphorical timeline of crucial relationships is emphasized. Although I appear to be a young woman ready for a night out, my bedroom is like that of a little girl, just like my mind, I’m always yearning for the past and refusing to let go. I’m somberly posing for a photo, aware that I’m perpetually living half in the moment and half online like many others in my generation.
