Shortly after I arrived to the city for the first time, I captured its first impression on me. This particular train points to a more recent New York City along with the vape and the IPhone. These are all relics of contemporary life. The subject is wearing clothes from the early 2000’s such as DC skate sneakers and oversized jorts, a style that always belonged to the rebels and outcasts of several generations. The figures torso is cropped, leaving the gender, age, and race up to the imagination. One of the best things about New York City is the diversity, not only physically but in personality, fashion, lifestyle.. this is my version of NYC.
